From afar the wedding gown looked gorgeous to be sure but when viewed up close, the sewing detail still is good but the dust it has gathered over the years becomes visible. Or is it shadow? Perhaps I should only look at this from afar.

Fabric detail seen up close shows the mesh nature of the material

whilst the hide of the briefcase looks like more like skin – again I prefer to see them from afar.

But when viewing nature close is nearly always a picture to behold whether the bark from a paperbark,

Our local baker always has a bit of advice on hand that not only makes me smile but benefits him should the advice be followed. Whether it would benefit the recipient should they take it up – perhaps (they’d certainly enjoy the cake) but perhaps not.
The best piece of advice I wrote about in the Discover Challenge Apology in May so I’ll leave you to follow the link and go there if you want. Instead today I’m going to give a piece of advice about the self. So often people try to be who they think the person they are with wants them to be and this becomes difficult when you are with many people at the same time. As the saying goes, you can’t please all of the people all of the time. As this is the case then why not just be yourself all the time. Spend the time and find out who you are. What you think and what you want from life. You will be happier. The people surrounding you will like you for who you are and not what you are trying to be.

Having guests Tania rose early. The visitor’s child, Josh, followed her asking incessant questions. As he leant on the bench something ran up his pyjama sleeve. Screaming, he ripped his clothes off and the offender, a mouse, scurried to safety under the dresser.
Tania grabbed the cat. “Do your stuff Killmouski.”
Now everyone was present. They pulled the dresser away from the wall to give the cat greater access. With a whiff of mouse Killmouski waited patiently. Finally with a pounce, it was caught. The game of torture began.
Feeling guilty, Tania caught the cat to save the mouse.
It is good to be writing a 99 word flash for Carrot Ranch again. It seems like a long time and it is good to have Charli back. She asks us this week :
July 6, 2016 prompt: In 99 words (no more, no less) write a story about a cat. It can be a cute and adorable kitten or it can be mean old tom that swipes a claw at unsuspecting humans. Cats are prevalent in the mining country – mousers and companions. Some survive in luxury with cushions in a sunny window, while others fend off coyotes. What cat comes to mind and how does it spark a story?
Respond by July 12, 2016 to be included in the weekly compilation.Rules are here. All writers are welcome!

Medical signs are things like bruising which is a sign that a fall has occurred.
