This is hard – I did a tryptich just the other day, three photos when I posted 3 Lakes, 3 countries, 3 twilights, a tale in three parts – part 1, part 2 and part 3 and a haiku – so what creative new (for me at least) project can I muster for the weekly discover prompt “in the spirit of list making, the challenge is to create in sets of three in the medium of your choice. Poets might try a few tercets, or perhaps its most accessible form — the haiku. Photographers and artists might consider working in triptychs to capture a subject in evolution or experimenting with the rule of thirds. Playwrights, how about a comedy or drama in three acts? Foodies, why not envision and prepare a three-course meal? Composers, how about a new piece in three-quarter time?”
One, two three minutes have gone and no ideas.
One, two three hours have gone and still no ideas.
One two three days and I still haven’t a clue but that is 3 and it is time to apply myself.
1 + 2 = 3
Dream + Passion = Living
Firstly one must dream. One must have an idea but it is of no value unless it is added to passion. Passion is an enabler. It gives the person the power to overcome the obstacles and see that dream turn into reality. This must be what is meant by those who say “I’m living the dream.” The only things in life that we will end up regretting are those dreams that we did not live. Where the passion was not enough to see them through. Then we have a different equation.
Dream + No passion = Regret
Where the passion was not enough to see them through. An original response to the challenge. This is something to think about. Thanks, Irene.

It was a response when I didn’t have a response.

Sometimes not having a response IS the response. And a damned good one, too. 🙂
