It’d be great wouldn’t it. The old iron horse snorting steam.

It would be 🙂 especially if it could show the kids of this generation how it was done in the past 😀

I’d never seen anything like it and being given a personal guided tour I now know more about locos than I ever anticipated I would.

I always wonder what the cows think of all those huge pieces of silent machinery. Probably not much.

maybe the juciest morcels are found around the locos. Yes, they probably don’t think about them much. I think it appeals to the human mind though as the two don’t quite seem to fit together.

I love these. I have an odd fascination with old trains. These are wonderful shots!

I’d never seen anything like it. All are in working order and one day they are going to be running again.

My husband and son would, pardon the expression, go ape shit at this museum. There’s one in Golden, CO, where we HAD to stop on a vacation..for several hours!

What a great place to visit. I hope they’re caring for the trains and not letting them fall to ruin under the elements of weather.

The trains are cared for like babies. All are in running order and their plan is to open 35kms of branch line and run the trains for paying customers. It is one of the most scenic rail routes in Australia so it will be great when they are eventually up and running. They all look dirty because they have been coated in grease to make sure they don’t rust up or suffer in any other way. It is truly a labour of love
