Do the cars go on top of the bridge? I try to see how the bridge is structured.

It is a bridge under construction so you are right to be wondering. Here is a fuller version which will make more sense to you. https://irenewaters19.files.wordpress.com/2018/12/DSCN5405.jpg

I see, now I get a full picture of the bridge. It’s not a suspended bridge like most of the bridges are in the US.

Certainly not an elegant bridge but an interesting physical structure – seems they placed a strut in every possible place.

When you are silent it is difficult to convey that it was a bridge under construction. An interesting way of building. Here is a more complete picture. https://irenewaters19.files.wordpress.com/2018/12/DSCN5405.jpg

Oh – I still don’t find it attractive though I guess it’s serviceable.

Is the Nile River drying? https://bossomofthenile.wordpress.com/is-the-nile-river-drying/

Fascinating. I couldn’t find anywhere to comment on your post so will do so here. I can quite believe that the Nile is drying. I had no knowledge of the dams, hydro and Lake Victoria that you talk about in your post but I can well believe it. Even the impact of the dam at Aswan must lead to less water flow in the Nile. I was interested that they are channelling the water from the lake behind the dam at Aswan into the desert to create green pockets that can become fertile farmland. It must all have an impact but that project fascinated me and I hope to follow its progress. Thanks for sending the link to your site. Cheers Irene

Thank you for the kind compliments Irene.
The Nile is a fascinating river and just like we are taking a keener look at the Amazon, the Ice caps and all, the Nile should be part of that great debate.
If something drastic were to happen to the Nile, as it sure is most likely with the ongoing trends, the catastrophe would be huge.
And that is why were striving to address the sources of the Nile in small ways that we hope will eventually pick up momentum to mitigate any further degradation of this critical natural resource.

A fantastic initiative. Not only will it help the Nile but the entire world.
