In Denmark, I had them in pots indoor and it was necessary to tie them up at a Bamboo stick or so, not to fall down and break at the floor. The heads are huge and heavy weight.

Perhaps that is what I should have done outside. I didn’t think they would survive being cut but they have. I still have one spike to go on the plant outside.
