Yes I think it is a good demonstration of how green though lovely can have a weighty feeling, verging on the oppressive, whilst blue seems to be open, light and bright. It is the difference I feel between the country town where I lived before coming here and where I live now. Whilst I lived there though I didn’t notice it.

That’s an interesting perspective! Colors have deeply emotional weight, as much as taste or sounds. Colors bring back memories, calm us, frighten us, enchant us, make us redecorate our homes. The last is very dangerous with me – as in, too expensive.

True a lot of companies and institutions employ colour consultants to choose the paint that will give them a desired client reaction . The last hospital I worked at did this for calming effects. Luckily I have roger who is great with colour and takes away the expense by doing the house himself.
