Daily Living in the Heart of Dixie
When you choose an alternative lifestyle with no idea what you're doing and make it up as you go.
I’ve always loved daisies. Specifically because they are simple, ordinary, abundant. They’re beauty prevalent in the wilderness.

Couldn’t agree more. Brings a smile just looking at them bobbing their happy heads.

I haven’t heard that before with daisies. You’ve made me wish I’d picked one.

We used to pick daisy’s and pick each petal of saying; “He loves me”.
Next petal, “He loves me not”.
I thought everyone knew that. :o)

You have reminded me but I think we used that rhyme with clover but I am probably wrong. You have me thinking.

These photos remind me of the sweetness of childhood. Every child’s first drawing of a flower is a daisy.

I hadn’t thought of that but you are right. 🙂

Wonderful clear pictures of a very beautiful flower! I remember the childhood game of, “He loves me, he loves me not”. Such simple, happy times!

Life does seem to be more complicated for children these days. I hadn’t realised it until we saw some little girls in Switzerland with arms linked, skipping down the road singing, acknowledging adults they passed with a hallo madam/monsieur. We realised this was something we did but we didn’t see children in Australia doing anymore. They were simple, happy times.
