   Irene, you are a genius. Calligraphy is a mark we usually identify with a sweep of ink. You see it as the impression of water drops, my favorite, the loft of leaves, or the dog’s whiskers. (I’m right about that one, correct? It’s not a photo of Roger early in the morning, is it?)

     Yes you are right about that one being dog whiskers. Roger would be horrified – a five o’clock shadow beyond all proportions. LOL. I can’t take credit for the creative idea of calligraphy in nature, only in finding some of my photos that fitted the bill (and believe it or not some were taken on the day).

   My favorite is the water drops. I don’t know a great deal about photography, so am impressed that the water drops are well defined and not blurry.

     Thanks Diane. I love the water drops as well. My favourite is probably the last one. My secret is to take numerous and at least a few will be good (but I am getting better at it or else the cameras have improved).

   I love how you captured the calligraphy theme, so unique, even down the whiskers. The water drops are amazing and the first photo is mesmerising, it draws me right in. The collective tree shot too is so unusual. What kind of trees are they? I don’t think I’ve ever seen any quite like them…

     Thanks Sherri. It was an interesting challenge and not a concept I had previously thought of. Amazing what you can find. The trees I think are probably some kind of fig but I don’t know for sure.
