Even a fun place to work. Take your togs and have a swim at lunch time.

I do too. I never cease to be amazed by the beach in the city and the amazing green space around. We walked through the botanic gardens this time and crossed the river – even more green. As far as cities go Brisbane is one of my favourites for the CBD area. I can’t say I know any other parts.

There is definitely much to explore. I think a hop-on-hop-off bus tour would probably highlight many treasures that we who have always lived here know nothing about! We need to be tourists in our own city occasionally to uncover its secrets. 🙂

That is very true. I forced Roger onto a London double decker open topped tourist bus and he was amazed at what he saw despite having worked in London for numerous years before emigrating. They have buses in Brisbane doing that as well but as yet we have not been on one.

I know. Nor me! I even saw open top double decker buses in Cairns. I wonder what spots they visited. 🙂

This is Norah’s city where she lives. I only go to visit a few times a year but it never ceases to fill me with delight that this is in the city centre. 🙂

Absolutely. We don’t go that often but it is a nice city to go to when you have to. One day I will organise coffee and actually meet Norah. 🙂
