Water
Gives Life
Many hues
Still, moves and falls,
Salt, Fresh, Glacial
crystal clear, turbid too
Ever changing view
Awe-inspiring
Wonderful
Peaceful

Nothing quite like the hues of glacial silts that tint the water. Gorgeous images and poem (I like it’s shape, too).

Thanks Charli. I realised after I had published it that the poem isn’t quite right. It’s a form of Haiku (I can’t remember the name) where you start at one syllable, increasing each line by one syllable until you have seven syllables in the middle line (I stopped at six). It had the right shape (which I wanted) but I realised some time later that water has two syllables. But I do like the shape. Cheers Irene
