Thanks Sherri. This far north coast of NSW and SE Qld coast are full of old volcanic plugs like this. They make for spectacular viewing and often loom up like this, drawing you towards them.

That looks very much like Mt Lindesay 🙂

Gosh, you are probably right Suz. I knew it was one or the other and decided it was Mt Warning. Mt Lindsay has the flatter top of the two and this is pretty flat and if memory serves me we’ll this photo was taken somewhere around Kyogle. 😀

Warning is sharper and if you took the photo from Kyogle then it is more than likely Lindesay 🙂 It is pretty distinctive with the table top.
So where in Qld are you?

I grew up in Casino and should have known that and you are definitely right. I’m living near Noosa, Sunshine Coast. Are you Northern Rivers?

He he…. we forget things 😉
I’m a Qld’er but not far over the border. It’s about 45 minutes to the border gate from here. Noosa is beautiful. That’s a sea change from Casino that’s for sure.

Casino seems like a lifetime ago – in reality it probably is- and we do enjoy living up here. You never know – I might run into you around the place, you’re not that far away and we probably both hit Brisbane at times.
