Interesting and unique building but certainly not a peaceful place. Maybe it’s expected that whoever is on stage will need to attract the audience’s attention with a skillful performance.

I agree it clashes somehow and a performance would make the room seem even busier. It would have to be superb to be able to engross you in it to the point you don’t notice the surroundings.
