When I took an art class in high school, one of our assignments was to paint an abstract using different hues of the same color. I ended using purple for my color. Now, looking at your photos, I wish I had picked a lighter color to start out with back then.

It gave a really eerie quality to the building.

What a surreal building – what is that place?! The bananas cracked me up, nice idea! And a haiku too – you are very creative! Greetings from Egypt!

Greetings from Australia. This building replaced the old building which used to be the nurses training school. I thought from a distance that they had put up a block of flats but once closer I reallly don’t know what it was, possibly doctors rooms. Once I arrived at where I could see in it was as you said “surreal”.
The bananas had been forgotten and left to bake in the car. I just had to photograph the result. Lookd forward to seeing you again. Cheers Irene

Lol too funny about the bananas! Thanks for the info on the strange building, too, I thought it looked like a government building but it’s still pretty bizarre! My youngest sister lives in Melbourne with her husband, Australia seems like a really great country!

Yes bizarre. I thought of a Woody Allen film but I can’t think of the name of it. Australia is a nice place to live and there is something of everything here as far as landscapes and temperatures. Cheers
