I wonder. If in the United States of America birds fly south for the winter, do they fly north in Australia and New Zealand?

Yes some do whilst other still fly south from the equator.It depends if they are trying to escape the cold winter or the hot summer.

Thanks Kay. The lorikeets were coming in to roost for the night and I was desperately trying to capture them. I was unsuccessful but I quite liked the tree also.
