Thanks. We have been let off lightly I think. Hope everyone else was too.

It has almost left us and despite rain and wind I think we were let off lightly. King tide this morning but only minor flooding. Hope it has eased by the time it gets down to you.

Glad to hear that Irene. We’ve had some rain here but nothing too heavy at this stage.

Watching the news last night some places certainly had it worse than we did. Hope you are okay.

We’re fine. We’ve been lucky. Must catch up on some news today. Have a good Sunday Irene.

I think you are just entering your winter. Is that correct? So those clouds might bring heavy rains. (My ignorance of geography knows no bounds!)

Yes we are at the beginning of winter and being given weather that makes us believe it. This year we seem to have skipped autumn and gone straight from summer to winter. We normally get summer rain but those clouds certainly brought rain with them and wind and combined with a king tide had the makings of something nasty. Luckily now that it has almost gone it wasn’t as bad as predicted.

Thanks. Almost gone and not too bad. We did need the rain and the wind (which I hate) I managed to sleep through.

Love the subtle blue-gray gradations of the sky and the brilliant glow from the corner.
Be safe, Irene. Please send the extra rain our way.

Wish I could send the rain your way Sharon. We now have surplus.

So I hear – in Europe too.

Horrendous in Europe. The clean up is going to be massive. My heart goes out to them.

Thank you. Not as bad as predicted – so far 110 mm rain, fairly strong winds and a king tide but I feel it has virtually gone.

We were fine. It looked like Sydney copped it with horrendous erosion. These days you’d be mad to buy on the edge of the sea like that despite the great views.

I can’t believe how hungry the sea was this time. It’s a wonder anyone ever thought it was wise to build on the sea’s edge. The sea is claiming much of the land. Our Earth is forever changing.
Glad you’re okay. 🙂

Glad you are too. Yes I think we will see different landscapes and styles of living over the next decade or so.

certainly some places copped it. Luckily we got off lightly just a good lot of rain, some wind and a trifle chilly.
